I've created many DXF outputs with more complex shapes from Fusion 360 for laser cutting. I have not seen hat so my guess would be the the software you are opening the exported with might have a problem with the output of Fusion 360.

Thanks for the fast reply! Even the preview image with the file attached in Gmail shows it corrupt.

That's crazy it fails badly, you're not wrong at all that's a bug in a half.

Now where it is failing is on the 4 arcs, why don't know. I converted the 4 arcs to construction line and redid the end's as 1 full arc per end and it does not fail.

While I don;t think this should fail, I can see why id does.

the first question I'd have to ask is how this sketch was created unless it was imported from somewhere.

It has no constraints and that's hard to do in Fusion, unless you delete these afterwards. That would not be recommended.

Then the arcs are not full 180 degree arcs but two 90 degree arcs. when deleting all 4 90 degree acs there's still a point left on the right side to be deleted.

In general when exporting a dxf from a solid the best option is to create a sketch on top of the surface of the solid that represents the outline of the shape to be exposed. Fusion 360 auto projects the outline into that sketch. That new sketch can then be exported. This method also avoids the pesky problem with double identical lines.
