Unable to find how to create a BOM/Parts list

Hi all,

I'm new to Fusion 360, and not an ME, so please bear with me. I've read a few tutorials on Body vs Component. I'm designing a sliding pull out system for my 4Runner. I intent to use 1/2" square steel tubing for the frame, then put lightweight body panels on the tops and sides. Given that this is essentially a rectangle with steel supports, I'd like to create a BOM/Parts list from my components. I've created my components, and read the documentation here.

It would be great if I could generate a parts list/bom in autodesk fusion 360 so I can quickly get through my cut list. I can't seem to find any way to do this, yet it's in the documentation. Is this not available in the free version?

I'm using the mac version, attached is a screenshot.

There is an Add-In script called ExtractBOM that may do what you want.

Hi Todd, the BOM/parts list is created within the drawing environment and this is activated when the New Drawing feature is used as I have displayed in the screen shot.

There's a nice app available in the Fusion app store that exports a CSV file you can open in a spreadsheet.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I've been traveling a lot for work, so I'll give this a shot this weekend. @Anonymous, That's how I've created my drawing, I actually already have a partially completed one. What's the next steps for creating the BOM/part's list? It's not clear to me at all in the Mac interface, that's why I'm assuming it doesn't exist.

As of the November update, you can also export a csv file of a Parts List in Drawings to be opened as a spreadsheet too - you can find it under the Output dropdown menu.
