Hi there,

I'm having the same problems, not being able to succesfully run simulations locally. Even the simplest square box with a single force and fixed constraint doesn't work.

However, I am not a student but a professional, having spend a dear amount of money on a decent computer running windows 10 (Pro, up to date). Therefore running everything on the cloud won't work out for me.

Can you let me know when a real solution is expected?

Hi,

I'm wondering if this issue has been resolved. I'm able to solve a simple cantilevered beam analysis on the cloud but not locally.

I'm running Windows 10.

@bradley_humble, can you check this location [ C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Autodesk\webdeploy\production\7ca01d20fe2dafa65f944d9236f39fdec21b9b7a ] and tell me if you see a folder called [ NASTRANSolver ]?

Hi Andy,

I do see the NASTRANSolver foler. It has a bunch of .dll and a few other
types in it.

Hey Brad,

That is good and bad. The next fastest suggestion is to perform a clean uninstall using this tool. Clean Uninstall Once it is done, you can install using the same installer in your web browser downloads location or download it again from the website.

We are not sure yet what is causing this.

Please let us know if the clean uninstall did not work.

Hi Andy,

The first time I tried the clean install it did not work. I got to the
login and pw pages then it kept kicking me out.

The second time I did the clean install and restarted my PC and it now
works.

I was manually allowing a fusion file access through the firewall because
Norton said it had an expired security certificate. I allowed the file at
some point during the installs. Just thought I'd mention.
