topic Is there a way to animate this torsion spring in an assembly? in Fusion Design, Validate & Document Forum

I created a spring hinge and I would like to add this respective spring to it and have it animate correctly when moving the hinge accordingly. The idea is that as the hinge opens and closes, the spring ends resting on the hinges would look like the torsion forces acting on it. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

I am not sure you can make the spring active with Joints but you can fake it easily. Model of the spring is attached.

I don't mind faking it. Thank you once again John for sharing your experience and coming up with an interesting solution.
