Hi! Is the target two separate parts or bodies? If you expand the "Objects to Cut" arrow button, what objects are selected? If possible, please share the f3d file here.

@johnsonshiue - this is extremely easy to reproduce. there are 2 seperate bodies, but only one is available in the dialog when using extrude all-

but both are available if using other types, such as extrude to-

model attached.

@johnsonshiue - even worse if you do the following-

-hide body 1

-extrude all, cutting into body 2

-show body 1

-edit the original extrude

you lose the reference to body 2 in the extrude feature for some reason. see video-

Yes, I made sure the objects to cut showed both that's why I started with showing the Distance version before changing it to All.

@TrippyLighting Not much to rescue here. The extrude command fails to cut "all" when two bodies are the cut target. This could be a bug, or just a limitation. I'll let the modeling team know. (FUS-196517)

Meanwhile, to get the job done, if you want to do this without two extrudes, make it parametric. In this image, "width" controls both the vice jaws and the cut.

@trippy these are customer models and I cant share them willy nilly online

@Phil.E I am extruding a dovetail from the centerline of a cylinder. The arrow is pointing to how its not cutting that one segment for some reason.
I restarted and now it works.

Good to know. If you find anything like this that you can share, including just an image or video, or a model, with steps I can follow, I will always bring any bugs I find to the developers. Thanks for posting and helping.
