Anybody experiencing mouse loosing focus or mouse stuck in rotate mode ???

I am curious if others experience this issue as well. If so could you please join the discussion here

and post your specs.

Since the update before AU 2017 I experience quite frequently the following two issues:

1. Loosing mouse focus

While working something triggers Fusion to loose the mouse focus.

I can interact with the main menu and UI elements

But I cannot interact with the 3D view cube nor select geometry elements in the 3D view

Solution: Switch to the desktop and back to Fusion 360

2. Mouse stuck in rotate 3D view mode

Something triggers Fusion to get stuck in pan or 3D view mode.

It seems this happens with certain mouse button interactions lie MMB or RMB

But I was able to get the same happen also with LMB

Solution: Switch to the desktop and back to Fusion 360

My Specs are:

MacPro 2008

macOS Sierra or Al Capitan

2 x GTX 970

NVIDIA Web Drivers

3D Connexion CAD mouse

I also observed these issues on few iMacs in our design lab as well as with students MacBookPro's

and normal 3 buttons mouse.

No body uses PC so I was not able to see if this happened there as well.

I hope with more people joining this thread we could provide AD with more resources since I think

they cannot reproduce this bug. Their suspicion is that it might be causes rather by a 3rd party software.

NOTE: I noticed that specifically also when using Chrome and Hangouts and sharing a screen that runs Fusion this happens very very often.

I've also noticed odd behavior using a mouse and some users have suggested this might be in conjunction with the 3D Spacemouse, which I also use.

this manifests itself to unexpected and laggy response when trying to bring up the marking menu, when the mouse pointer just starts to draw a blue freehand line on the screen instead of bringing up the marking menu.

The most laggy behavior I see when sketching. That environment has taken a bad performance hit in the last couple of updates and that's been reported by a good number of users.

@TrippyLighting Frohes neues Jahr! Happy new year in German!

The marking menu lag you describe I think is with Fusion from the beginning.

I never saw it having the speed like in Maya or Alias.

One of the reasons why I never started to use it.

The mouse focus and stuck in other modes I also see with just generic plug-n-play mouse from Logitech.

So I am not sure if this is limited to the 3D Spacemouse.

Have you found any differnce between a new file or existing, opened file? As @TrippyLighting mentioned, there has been similar "mouse stuck" problems with 3D SpaceMouse. In my case there was certain difference between a new file and existing/opened file.

No I did not see a difference. I meet with a user yesterday and then while demoing the problem in front of him (screensharing with Hangouts) the stuck in rotate mode happend more then few times. But also without screensharing I experienced sometimes similar rhythms in getting stuck.

Problem is that it does not happen in measurable intervals. While I send AD a screen recording showing that in T-Splines loading an obj file I was able to each time reproduce the mouse focus issue.

But as far as I know with the 18th there will be an update that fixes that.

Really annoying and still not fixed. I have this issue with trackpad on my MacBook Pro. When opening another tab it behaves normally on the new tab but still odd in the old tab.
