thanks for the quick review and reply!!!

and now it works 😕

well not exactly. I changed from using boxyz as the target to the EMC as you did. It worked. I switched back to the boxyz to see if I could reproduce my issue and it started reporting an interesting error that it had never shown before. I had changed to using inches rather than millimeters as my default. The boxyz g code generator reported that it needed to be in millimeters rather than inches. So, now it works.

I'm not sure why it decided to show me the error now rather than point me generically to some unspecified diagnostic logs, but from now on, when I run into this problem, I will try switching g code generators to see if that helps.

I need to do some research on which is the best g code generator for my vPRO controller. I tried the generic GRBL code generator and that produced commands that the g-code sender (or the controller itself) didn't understand.

Anyway, much thanks. I was very frustrated with my many attempts to regenerate the setup file.

I have a model that when I try to create the g code as part of the post processing it reports an error in the file that should contain the g code which points me to diagnostic log files (in which I can find no useful information about the reason it doesn't produce the g code). I've tried many things during the setup, and the tool path generation and simulation gives me confidence that it should work, but something is clearly wrong. I don't know if its a CAM setup problem or something wrong in the model itself.

Any suggestions?

Nothing wrong with the model or the toolpath. Gcode is generated fine with LinuxCNC (EMC) post processor. Can you post your post processing settings?
