The new move tools are awesome. Like that when you copy a component, it copies the sketches with it. Thats going to be helpful

No body works harder to deliver then Autodesk!

Thanks to the Autodesk Fusion 360 team, Fusion 360 is now my go to CAD CAM.

Looks like now when using the move tool, the snap points dont show up. The snaps points in the move tool are handy to have. Please bring them back. Make them an option like in the new inspect tool

Glad to hear the new Move options will be helpful 🙂

Unfortunately snap points aren't yet in the new implementation of Point to Point, but we're looking into it now! If you're trying to align two points on two different bodies/components, the Align command might also be able to achieve this.

Thanks for posting, and glad to here the update is generally working well!

Some clarification on the new Move behavior:

Free Move (the default move mode) still behaves in the same way as before (complete flexibility over moving/rotating/changing pivot, but not able to remember values).

In order to move in a way that values are remembered, you need to one of the other modes (Translate/Rotate/Point to Point/Point to Position). Each of these are individually more limited in what they can do, but they have the advantage of being able to remember the input values. So in your example, you would probably want to use Rotate, select the pivot edge as the axis, and specify the rotation value.

We're still investigating whether we might be able to provide a combined Translate + Rotate tool that also remembers values - if we're able to do that, it would most likely still be less flexible than the existing Free Move mode, so we would probably want to keep that around anyway.

Hope that clarifies. Let us know if you hit any other issues with new Move (or any updated features).

After the update all the project that autodesk shared with me is gone. example workshop, design sample, cam sample etc..

How can us get it back?

Hi @jakefowler, thanks for the quick reply.

What you suggested is exactly what I was looking for. When I saw the "Rotate" option, I didn't make the connection that it's just like the Draft command (But better).

I'll keep testing and will let you know, if I finde something.

I noticed that you haven't fixed the Units inside the Texture Editor yet. There are still stuck on "in" and not correspondence with the file default Units!

Launched Fusion this morning and was excited to see an update being downloaded. All good and useful stuff! My favorite CAD program continues to get better and better. Kudos to the entire Fusion 360 team.
