When you select a subassembly or component in a design Fusion 360 highlights the component with some of ira sketches as then some regardless even if they are hidden in that component or subassembly.

I does only show some sketches but not all sketches in a subassembly..

For example in this assembly I am selecting the Bottom PCB - CW component. There are three sketches in that component, but it only shows one and it does not show all sketch elements.

This was all built natively in Fusion 360.

I've been working on a project lately that requires a lot of movement of my components. When I do this I notice a lot of other stuff around my component making the screen busy. I'm not sure what this is or if it's what bogs down my computer. Is there a way to purge this extra data?

I've often wished for this as well, since there always seems to be one sketch that won't turn off.

*EDIT* I actually figured out my issue. I have a component inside a component. Dragging the component out to be it's own component fixed my double sketch issue. User error on my part, but I notice the OP also has a multi-component components.

Fusion seems to be pulling locations of all sketches and bodies as they moved in the workspace. I guess maybe trying direct modeling might help. Not sure

By any chance, did you import your sketch from other program??

When you create the model using direct modeling, doesn't it happen? I still couldn't figure out whether your system issue or your model issue.

If I can do anything for you, please let me know.

Unfortunately, Sketches of components within another model can't be turned off which is a pain point I know Autodesk is addressing. I will try to remember to turn off the light bulb of each component when finishing a model before creating an assembly.
