      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have installed Fusion 360 with the Admin Install but I can´t run it as a regular user. Even if i am logged in as an admin I need to choose Run As Administrator to get it past the initial splash screen. What am I missing? I have tried it on a couple of computers with the same result.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;On a clean computer I get "Exchange Material Service has stopped working" when I am logged in as an admin. As a regular user I only get the splash screen and then a crash.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;/Robert&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;When running Fusion from a global installation be sure to only run it when logged as a user (e.g. not the administrator account).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If run when logged in as Administrator, certain files are written to that account's temp folder that are not accessible when a user on another non-admin account tries to run Fusion. To resolve this delete all the Fusion folders/files found under /%USER%/ in the Admin account or remove all of Fusion and reinstall.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If this doesn't help or you are experiencing a different problem, please let me know.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I think you have to careful how you run Fusion 360 generally. A "normal" install installs into %localappdata%. For any particular user this is: C:\User\YourName\AppData\Local. However, there is a significant amount of data written into %TEMP% which, if removed, can take a very long time to rebuild.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In my case I was cleaning up some extraneous files. You can do this using "Disk Cleanup" in Windows but I was purging out %TEMP% manually - thus I noticed the amount of data Fusion 360 stores there. If you clean %TEMP% down, Fusion 360 looks like it hangs on the main screen before it draws the toolbar. It isn't hung though - it took my machine 8-9 minutes at this point and then it was fine again. I verified after a reboot and it was the usual 1-2 mins.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is something to be aware of if you have some "helpful utility" that does some form of cleaning up on a boot or a logout. You will have really long startup times.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Oddly enough I had an issue with a network device (a 3G dongle) that acted the same way - a long hang on startup. I think there are a lot of small network writes or connections this time that my dongle drivers didn't handle well. In this case I stopped using Device Manager to pull in the drivers and instead installed the 3G device using the provided setup program. I guess this install program manipulates network parameters to suit the 3G device. This is also something to be aware of - Fusion 360 can be sensitive to either a misconfigured network or an oddly configured one!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So to clear things up, my scenario is this:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The computers are domain-connected and&amp;nbsp;used by multiple users that are not administrators. I use the Fusion 360 Admin Install.exe to install the program for All users. After installing on a clean computer (No Autodesk-products installed before) the program does not start (unless I start with Run As Administrator). Only the splash screen comes up and there are&amp;nbsp;four processes running (that I could find); FusionLauncher.exe, Autodesk Fusion 360 and 2x AutoCAD component.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Since it works properly with Run As Administrator there&amp;nbsp;probably is some resource (file/folder/service?)&amp;nbsp;that is not accessible when you run&amp;nbsp;the program the normal way (even as an admin user). I have tested this&amp;nbsp;on different computers in two different domains (an old and a new system) with the same results. In the old system I am the domain admin and in the new I have a computer admin account. I do not know of any special restrictions that might interfere with this program.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The cleaning tool you sent a link to does not uninstall the program in this scenario. Which README-file are you referring to?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My problem was related to the graphics card/driver that could not be initilized by Fusion on Swedish Windows (but worked on an English one?). In the end we realized that the graphic cards were to old and slow and swapped them out to newer ones. Since then we have not had any problems.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I know this is a thread mine but i am experiencing the same issue however this can not be a driver issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have just deployed my Windows 10 Build 1909 SOE to my organizations computers.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Fusion 360 will launch correctly from a local machine account (pre domain join)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After domain join and logging on as a Student user Fusion 360 will not launch correctly and hangs after the splash screen while trying to load the user login page.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Domain users that have local admin rights (such as staff and domain admins) can launch Fusion 360 without issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I cannot make Student and generic user accounts admins on the local machines.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;On the Admin install, a couple of things to check out:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Is there a proxy being used? Or firewall/smartscreen app?&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Have you run Fusion under the admin account? If so, that could be what's causing the issue. When we launch we write files to the local\appdata folders and if an admin was run, when the local account runs it tries to write to that folder (which it can't).&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If neither of these apply, can you attach your log files? They may give us some insight.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRIKE&gt;We do run a proxy but it cant be culprit as Fusion 360 works fine when running from a local account (machine admin) which is the same traffic route when logged on as a domain student account.&lt;/STRIKE&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRIKE&gt;Fusion 360 was installed using the lab installer package into a base image.&lt;/STRIKE&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;STRIKE&gt;The image was then captured and deployed to organization PCs&lt;/STRIKE&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRIKE&gt;Where do i find the logs for Fusion 360?&lt;/STRIKE&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRIKE&gt;I am collecting logs at the moment.&lt;/STRIKE&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It seems to be working on Student user accounts now.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
