Question

Hi! I am designing a board and I am trying to figure out how to make an arc that is embedded into the body. The reason I am doing that is because I am trying to make a dry erase marker holder where my marker would fit well. How can I do so without taking too many steps and confusing myself throughout the process?

- Thanks

Post a pencil sketch of what you're looking to do - it's hard to answer with the description you gave.

I edited my previous reply but I guess it didn't get saved. What I said was, if you're essentially trying to make a single body that looks like a capital letter J from the side (which is what I'm imagining from your description), then I'd suggest making a sketch that looks like a capital letter J. Then extrude that profile. Here's the basic idea: https://youtu.be/ed43kU3jtg0
