&lt;P&gt;As you wrote, Fusion is able to use multi-core procesor.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;But single-core speed determines the result for (for example) "a shell" more than multi-core speed.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;In other words, multi-core procesor is always better, but using processor with less cores but more powerful&amp;nbsp;cores is better for Fusion.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi, question we are trying to design full boats with fusion 360.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;As soon as we go professional and in full design &amp;nbsp;production we&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;can't loose time due to a slow computer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;i&amp;nbsp;have now an iMac &amp;nbsp;2,8Ghz i7 &amp;nbsp;quad-core&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;We see that fusion uses all the cpu power it has on this quadcore when calculating " a shell" for&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;example.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;It works but becomes slow when we design every detail.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;will fusion use all the 8 cores? someone&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;experience with that?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;So we are thinking on a upgrade what is best ?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;4.0GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 &amp;nbsp;imac&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;or&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;mac pro 3.0GHz 8-core with 25MB of L3 cache&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;many thanks for your help.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
