Ah, ok if you watch the video in that link I posted up top then it talks about where to position the titleblock in AutoCAD (or whatever vector program you're using).

It needs to have 0,0 at the bottom right corner.

Hi

Does anyone know how to change the border on the Fusion 360 default border. When I print, the margins to the sides of the sheet are not even and the sheet present poorly as a consequence.

Thank you

Damien

If you're up to it, create a new title block with an integrated border. If you draw the border to the size you want, the PDF output will capture the entire page.

Here is a test I did to make sure...

Here is the AKN article about inserting custom title blocks:
https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/learn-explore/caas/video/youtube/watch-v-7-7jLmof7A4.html

Lastly, here is an A3 sized title block you can take a look at (basically a modified stock title block).

I tried inserting a dwg file for my title block and it just removed the original. The title block seems to be specific to the drawing size it was copied from. When I select the same size drawing it shows the title block but it puts it way off in space. It requires a move command to place it correctly. Maybe there are some tips for tweaking this?

Did you create the titleblock in model space or paper space?

It must be in model space. If it is in paper space nothing is imported.

In order to be able to edit the text in the title block, you need to be able to create attribute definitions like the ATTDEF command does in AutoCAD.

Those attributes would have (in AutoCAD):

A tag, which is what you place see while designing and what you can grab and place

A prompt, which is what you will see in the menu on the right of your screen when you double click your new title block in Fusion

And a default value if you so wish. However, bear in mind that giving a default value might throw off Fusions autoscale results when you enter text longer than your default. At least, that's what I've found.

Basically, you can do that in any program that can create attribute definitions.

Also, take a look at this video. Realy helpful.

If you don't have autocad you can use QCad. Look on the block menu under attributes.
