Sketch lines don't show on the canvas

[Post title edited, and replies merged from duplicate thread by CGBenner 4/12/24]

I asked this earlier but I fear I posted it in the wrong place. It's been a while since I reached out. Please forgive me for repeating myself.

I've drawn a hundred or so of these where I trace around a canvas in order to 3d print a hand tool holder. But now, the sketch lines no longer show up after I click enter. I haven't changed my settings or display options in ages. So whatever is going on is doing it for some other reason. The only way I can see my sketch lines is to turn off the canvas image. I can't finish my sketch because I can't see what I've already drawn. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I was wrong. Changing the opacity didn't really work after all. The lines did show but they were faint. And when I try to close a loop, the inside did not turn blue, couldn't be extruded. And besides, I've use full opacity before with no problems. Really stumped here.

Try unchecking Display Through. I'll put this in your other thread as well. PS.
Looking a bit more closely I notice the default Canvas opacity is 50% but it remembers the last setting. Not sure if this is just for the current session, closing and restarting fusion might reset this. If I insert a canvas with opacity set to 100% like your original design I get problems like your design.

Hello. I have had this issue on an rc airplane i am designing . To fix this, do it outside any component. Insert a canvas and then create a sketch, do not create any component. This will probably help. If you want to separate parts later on, you can just go into the timeline and fix it later. If you found this helpful please press accept solution.

Cheers,

Carl

Oh! Now that's interesting! I was just about to tell you and other
interested parties that things are back to normal now for reasons I/we may
never understand. With regard to shutting down the program, I've gone so
far as to shut down my PC and then start a new drawing (without success).
But I appreciate all the help. I'm not sure whether to check 'accept
solution' or 'problem solved' (not sure what all the choices are). I just
know that I'm back to normal. Incidentally, I am using 50% opacity this
time. So maybe that's what fixed it though I have used 100% in the past and
it didn't fix it the last time I tried 50%.
On a different note, I would like to say once again how much I appreciate
AutoDesk letting me use the program free of charge. It has brought so much
joy to my life.

Unfortunately I'm back. After printing the model, it was a poor fit. I'm sure it has nothing to do with F360. I decided it must be the camera angle. So I made a stand so the pliers would be dead level, and then shot the photo from a dead level tripod. So then I brought in the canvas as usual and tried to sketch around it. I tried 100% opacity (which used to work fine) and then down to something like 30%. It made no difference. After seeing that it wasn't going to let me see my sketch lines, I turned off the canvas and connected the sketch lines to see if the inside would turn blue for extruding. Nope. Usually when I get this deep into a software problem, I uninstall and reinstall. I'm almost afraid to do that for fear of not being able to get my Fusion back. Silly, I know. I'll upload the image and the file. Any more ideas, gang? Thanks for looking.
