Both systems have the latest update. The Win11 system gives the error when doing a normal load, but it works if I upload it as a file on the computer. The error is only apparent when opening the model from Fusion's cloud, but another model that I tried opened OK.

I'm switching from my old machine running Win 10 to a new, faster, machine running Win 11.

The first thing I did after installing Fusion was to load a small model I had created in my old machine. It failed to load with a cryptic message that said 'Unexpected error on load'. I tried again but got the dame result. I then tried the same model on my old machine, and it worked fine. I then returned to the new machine and got the same error. I tried a random older model, which loaded fine.

The model file you attached opens in the latest version of Fusion on both Windows 10 and Windows 11. I suggest that your two separate systems do not have the save version of Fusion installed. The latest version of Fusion is:

I reckon there's a bug somewhere.

The model was created on a Win10 system. It still loads properly on that system. Using the same Fusion logon-ID on a brand brand new computer with a new Win11 system gives the reported error when trying to load the same model. Fusion is at the same latest level on both systems. The error message displays in a small window saying something like 'Unexpected error occurred', but it's displayed for only a few seconds - not long enough to get a screen shot. If I save the model as an .f3d from the Win10 system it loads correctly into the Win11 system and can then be uploaded into the Fusion cloud (it's then designated as V2). V2 can then be subsequently loaded in the normal way.

So, we have two versions of the same model, one of which will load properly but the other won't.

Bug???

If you're sure that both systems are on the same revision number and if you are also sure that all your models are properly stored in the cloud, you could try clearing the cache on both machines and see if that resolves the issue.

It might not solve the problem and after all might be be a bug, but very rare and hard to reproduce.

The Win11 system came pre-installed on a brand new computer. The attachments show that both systems have the same (latest) level of Fusion. I have a friend who has Fusion running under Win11 and logged onto his system to get more information. To my surprise, it worked properly.

I came home and tried my Win11 again, and got the same error. I then used my Win10 system, opened the troublesome file, changed a body view from off to on and then saved the file. To my surprise it then opened properly on Win11.

Is it a bug or what? Either way, it appears to be working - I just hope it continues. I'm loathe to mothball the Win10 system until I'm certain there are no more hiccoughs on Win11.

The hiccup is NOT due to Win11. Microsoft has announced to and support for for Windows 10 in 2025.

I would update now.
