Close a sketch to create a profile....

Hi,

I created a sketch which I guess is not closed, because I cannot select it so that it becomes yellow shaded. I like to have a profile to extrude it/cut through a body.

How can I close it or see where it is open ? I am unable to see that. Thanks

There's an app here that might help.

Also try drawing some temporary lines across the sketch to narrow down the problem area. One last note make sure you have Show profiles enabled on the sketch palette.

Make sure that you have "Show profile" enabled in the Sketch palette:

If that is not helping then this thread shows a great technique to locate where the gap in your sketch is.

Hello,

There is a new add-in called Fill Gaps in Sketch on the Autodesk App Store. It fills gaps between end points of lines and curves in a sketch. It allows to create closed profiles without gaps.
