hello all, I am getting a meshing error, I have tried reducing the mesh size, and I have checked interference, but none. I have tried a repair, but I can't select the body while on the repair tab. The component where the meshing happens is from the manufacturer, and other parts are made by us. can't solve the issue and require expert advice. I am attaching a screenshot for your reference.

Ok, Fusion community... where are all of the mesh experts? Does anyone have any ideas for our new poster?

Hi @rejin777msd,

For the "Self intersection" type of mesh errors, this suggests a face is folded onto itself, or adjacent faces are overlapping.

Often times you can't visually see the problem with a solid model, but the problems can reveal themselves when the body is unstitched (Surface tab > Modify > Unstitch).

If you see a face that is self-intersecting, delete it and create a new face using the Create > Patch command. Then use Modify > Stitch to convert the model back into a solid

If you see overlapping faces after unstitching the model, try unstitching just one of the faces (uncheck Chain Selection) then stitch it back to the surface body to recreate the solid. Often times the gap or overlap can be healed if it falls within the size tolerance.

The leader of the mesh error label does its best to point to the problematic face to give you a clue of where to focus your attention.

Hope this helps!
