Having a copy of the diagnostic log files would be helpful. There is a command in the help menu that will gather them for you.

There are some suggestions in this link. Option 1 would be a good one to start with.

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Fusion-360-Difficulties-Uploading-Saving-or-Opening.html

If you hold off on option 2 or 3, I'll be happy to review the diagnostic log and verify what is happening.

Let me know if you have any quesitons.

Thanks,

Hi,

In the data panel one of my files shows a spinning circle that keeps spinning for ever. The file can not be opened.

Thanks for the log files! There is nothing "stuck" in your upload queue, so there are no pending saves. I did notice you're on build 2.0.2937 and the latest build is 2.0.2938. Are you being prompted to restart to install an update? Installing the update might help to resolve the issue.

It looks like you may have used the clear user cache data before collecting the log files. I didn't notice any errors in the log files that indicated issues opening a design. Did you attempt to open the design to recreate the issue before collecting the log files?

If not, you may consider doing this and the uploading an updated copy of the log files.

Did you try working offline and then opening the design?

If working offline and opening the design is not working. It may be fastest to try to perform a clean uninstall and then re-install. You can use the Fusion Cleaner tool in the below link.

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-do-an-automatic-Clean-Uninstall-for-Autodesk-Fusion-360.html

Select Yes to Delete the locally cached files.

Then re-install Fusion 360 from the below website.

http://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/overview

I'm happy to take another look at some updated log files that contain the error if you want to dig deeper.

I hope this helps.

Thanks,

Hi again,

Tried working offline, no difference, went online again. Doubleclicked on the " i " the file square in the data panel, and then the file opened. So the problem is solved for me. I dont know if you can understand what happened. Thank you for taking time with this problem.

Best regards

Hans
