How many polygons? My guess is it's going to be too dense of a mesh and you will need to use an app like instant meshes to reduce the poly count for conversion.

Make sure your preferences are set NOT to triangulate your meshes on import and use the T-Spline tools to convert your mesh to a T-Spline then a B-rep.

It would help if you could post the mesh here so we can offer more help.

Hello, Id like to prep this torso, (and later the face) for cnc milling.

Its a wavefront obj file exported from Daz. I cant perform any modifications. Cant patch, stitch, slice...nothing, Im trying to close her up, make her water tight, stitch the face, legs, reduce polys etc but the tools go dead as soon as I click on the tool menu parameters.

My suggestion would be to weld all the vertices of the different part meshes together in another mesh modeling app and really make one single mesh out of it.

Then I'd export it as a .obj and convert it into a in Fusion 360 T-Spline.

If you are really new to all of these apps, waht is your goal with this object ?
