hidden objects are selectable, can this be turned off?

I've got a drawing with a large number of objects and I'm trying to work on some of the interior ones. I've "turned off" the objects that are in the way by using the lightbulb in the browser, so they are not visible and I can see past them. However, when I try to select parts of the interior objects, the hidden objects in front still highlight their edges, which makes selecting what I want much more difficult. Is there a way to really suppress objects temporarily that I know for sure I will not be needing for a while?

Hi @serviceRTDVA,

Can you post a screencast of what you are seeing? Because, in general, invisible objects should not be selectable in Fusion. So, there must be something strange going on here. A video would help us figure out what you are seeing.

Right-click on the objects you want to be un-selectable and click on this:

I haven't figured out how to screencast, but here are two screenshots. In the first, "visible studs.png", I show the vertical pieces between the round plates. What I need to do is work with each stud in turn, hiding all but the one I'm working on. In the second image, "selected stud.png", I show a selected edge from one of the hidden stud objects as an example.

Interestingly, there are other bodies, not in a component, that are *not* selectable, I can't get any hint of those when they're off. Any ideas?
