Why can't I extrude this text?

Not sure what I did, but I can't extrude text anymore. It's creating text as a low res raster of some kind with no sketch data..? What did I do?

It's acting as if it's not a proper font, but I'm using Helvetica... the most common font in the world.

I believe you have to explode the text first, which will convert the outline of the text into lines, splines etc. Then you can extrude it.

You should be able to extrude text directly without converting to curves, don't know why it not working for you. Can you upload the file?

Funny thing is I don't have that font on either of my computers so will not be able to help and as the font you have might be a different version it might work for someone else.

Mark is right that we should be able to extrude a font directly. Peter's idea is good to help diagnose the problem. @cjshull, can you explode the text and see if there is any error?
