I am downloading the Kicad to try it out. Thanks for that. From what i see probably i will be able to put the components in the exact place that i want. I will let you know how that goes.

I want to create board with components on like HDMI, Ethernet, usb e.t.c so i designed every component separately. Now i want to place them on the board and i want to place them by distance.

Example the distance of the hdmi is 40 mm from the side of the board. is there a way to do that? I used a rigid joint and placed it in the middle of the board and i move it by hand but i want more accuracy .

I use Kicad to design the PCB and import the dxf into Fusion 360. The routing tools in Kicad are far superior unless you're doing a Voroni pattern.

I'd have to agree with @etfrench. For "normal" functional PCB's I would not use Fusion 360.

I have created PCB's in Fusion 360 in conjunction with Eagle and Altium CircuitMaker that would have been a disaster to create in a PCB software alone.

That had mostly to do with the odd shaped geometry of these PC's not with their electrical/electronic functionality.
