Hi guys, I have been having this problem since I think the last update of fusion 360. I create a model and save the file on my laptop and am able to reopen the file no problem. However, when I try to open the file on my desktop I get in error message could not open the file (name of my file) and it just says error message OK. I have tried this with multiple models with the same results. I have never had this error in the past everything seemed to work fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated! One added note is that the model does show up in my data panel it just will not open?

Thanks for the help! Have a great day.

Werner Berry

I was having something similar, it might have been while the new update was happening as its OK now.

Try closing fusion360 and opening it.

Hi Werner,

it could be a problem with different internal version of document. Could you verify, that you have installed the same version of Fusion on both your computers.

Information is available in About dialog. Current build number from latest update is : 2.0.2989

Regards

Roman

Hey Guys, I just closed and opened again and everything is opening again! Wahoooooo I had shut down and restarted fusion many times thinking the same thing in regards to the version that I was using. But this morning it updated and started working. Thanks to all of you for your great suggestions and help.

Have a great day!

Werner Berry
