Can you export an f3d file where you have the problem. I've just done a test with 3 different bodies that are on different planes and to multi hole still works so there must be something odd about what you're doing.

Here's an example where the sketch is on a plane above the bodies and one body has an angled top and it still work.

Hole command - multiple vs. single

I am using the Create Hole command on some parts. When selecting multiple locations where I have set sketch points, I get the error "No target body found to cut or intersect". When I do the same holes, exactly the same characteristics, using the same sketch points, but one at a time, it works fine.

Has anyone else seen this problem? I have run into this previously as well, but have also had success with multiple hole placements previously.

Does the flip option fix the problem. When you pace the holes one at a time you select the face first so the direction's known. With the multi select the sketch plane can point away from the body, it depends how you created the sketch.

Thanks for the note -- I'll look at Flip option, maybe that is going to help. I am doing exactly the same process when doing multiple or single, and selecting only the sketch points for hole placement. No face selection is involved for either. There is an additional detail which seems to be operative, though: The parts I am making holes in are separate parts, located in the same plane. I had (4) holes total in 2 separate parts, and (4) won't work, but (2) holes on the contiguous part surface does work with multiple selection. I don't understand why, that's for sure.

It looks to me like the holes are getting phantomed in place correctly when using the multiple selection, but then the error shows up at the end.
