topic Unselected sculpt bodies in component show as overlaid ghosts in Fusion Design, Validate & Document Forum

Hi All,

In the screenshot you can see that within the active component, unselected bodies that are within the active component, show as if they are non active components. This behavior started after i finished the form, leaving sculpt mode. I then chose to re-edit the sculpt body, and this is the look I got.

Any thoughts?

I'd be hapy to attach the file, but being new to this all, don't know how.

thanks

bozo

Hi Hitesh,

I see what you are looking at in the timeline. The red and yellow warnings have to do with some changes that were made to solids while in the modelling environment and were there before starting the sculpted body. I just now, finished the form, and then removed the fillets that are red labeled from the time line ( they were unimportant)- no change. I've also gone back into earlier versions and the same issue is present.

That is all...

Bozo

Also....

I have tried finishing form, activating main component, and then re-activating the component containing the sculpted body. Then when the scuplt body is opened for editing, taking me back into the sculpt environment, as it should the time line, shows only the sculpt body. The ghosts of all the other versions of this sculpted body are still visible, despite having the visibility of those bodies turned off.

In this component there are only sculpted bodies, having started with a first version, copied and pasted it, then working on that copy, and then repeating. This method creates a timeline allowing me to go back to earlier versions of the body, so I can experiment at will and always go back to an earlier version- a time line of sorts.

This problem started when I made a very awkward fill. The program reverted to a control points frame. It took hours to process the shape, after which this look was present. As i mentioned, i tried promoting an earlier version, made before the cut and paste and complicate mess i had made of the last version of the body, and that version still displayed the way seen on the screen shot.

Thats all I got....

bozo
