The attachment didn't go through. Can you please send it to mike.prom@autodesk.com? Do the wheels need to rotate at the correct speed for the direction of the vehicle?

Cheers,

i have added the attachment.

if the wheels rotate at the correct speed for the direction of the vehicle that would be a bonus but i mainly want to know how to achieve the motion

The attachment didn't go through. Can you take a quick image? Is it a straight path or curved? Have you tried our animation environment?

Under nomal circumstances you'd apply a slider joint between the carriage and the track and then define the rotation of the wheels using motion links between each of the revolute joint the wheels are attached with to their axles and the slider joint.

However, you have over 20 warnings in your timeline only in the section that cane be seen in the screencast.

This design is severely broken and you should fix them one by one before continuing.

Most of the yellow sketch icons are likely lost references, so I am wondering if you are missing Fusion 360 essentials.

@Anonymous,

For some reason I was not able to get the attachment before, but I got it now. @TrippyLighting is spot on, you should apply a carriage and the track. I would first do as built joints between the different carriage components with revolve joints for the wheels. Here is a link that might help with the yellow in the timeline.
