I have found an issue recently after the last Update of May and it's about the scroll in timeline, when I edit some sketch the scroll with no reason is automatically moved to first event of the timeline, it's very unconfortable because each time I have to scroll again all the history until the current action.

Hope some body can tell me anything about this, perhaps is just a thing of configuration.

Thanks all,

Alex

Hi @alexgonzalez1389,

Can you record a screencast of what you are seeing, and possibly share your design here as well? As far as I know the roll back for editing a sketch is working correctly, but I would be very interested in seeing what you are seeing.

Thanks,

Ok @jeff_strater sure I'll, also I would like to know if I can suggest you some tools I miss many times, I'm an user with many years of expertise with 3D Max, and I have some ideas.

For example, right now i was working with a model (Patch) that I need to select just a face and apply thickness tool but I can't find a way to select all the faces and then un-select just the face i want to keep, in this case i have to select one by one all the faces i want to delete and keep the face i want to apply thickness.

With 3D Max normally I select all the polygons and with Alt-click just un-select the face that want to keep.

Thanks,

Alex

Yeah, you can do that. There are two main ways: Use Invert Selection (select the face you want to keep and invert it). The second is to select all the faces (making sure that Select Through is on, to get the back side), and use CTRL/CMD click to de-select the face you want to keep. But... You have to make sure your selection filter is set correctly, or you end up selecting the entire body, in addition to the faces. This complicates the Delete workflow, as it will delete the body. So, set your selection filter to Faces only, window select, then Cmd/Ctrl click on the one you want to keep.

Screencast:
