So I have finished watching Fusion 360 Cam basics (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VEuD31byPxk) and thought I would start with a simple project, take a 1/4" piece of mild steel and machine a simple text (persons name) 1/8" deep in it, later too be painted then face off the top to its shiny on the top, colored in the text.

So I thought hey since adaptive clearing is supposed to be good, lets do that, I selected all the letters but it only machines out one. I can't seem to figure it out, can someone give me a hand?

The tool selected is too large. 2D adaptive is actually not a good choice for these letters as you will see when you use a smaller tool. A 2.4mm tool worked for me.
