Can't offset outside of shape in sketch.

Hi. I've been trying to use the offset tool to simply draw an outline of an imported SVG shape. For some reason, I can't offset the shape to go outwards, it only works inwards.

I get this error when attempting to offset the shape outwards: "The sketch offset created no geometry. Modify the offset dimension or verify the changes are correct."

I have attached a video of the error and the file down below. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! Another approach to try is to leverage Offset Surface. You may extrude the profile as a surface body. Then create an offset surface of the extruded surface. Lastly, project the edge from the offset surface to the sketch.
