topic Create manual exploded view using sub-assemblies in Fusion Design, Validate & Document Forum

Hi Folks,

This question has been asked in a way a couple of times before on the forums but I've not been able to find a good answer. The Animation workspace of Fusion allows me to create sub-assembly views. It gives the option of an auto-exploded view with either 1 level down or all levels. Or I can manually explode. I am trying to make an exploded view of the top level sub-assemblies. The issue is that the auto exploded creates a view that explodes sub-assemblies in the wrong directions. And (AFAIK) the manual view does not allow you to explode sub-assemblies, only components. My current work around is to make views by translating sub-assemblies but this excludes features like extension lines.

Does anyone have experience of creating sub-assembly exploded views / a better workaround / a solution?

Cheers,

Carl.
