Rotated and moved component, edit pattern feature oriented based on old location

I copied and pasted new a component from one file to another. I then moved and rotated this component so it was placed properly based on the other components. However, when I edit the pattern feature in the middle of the timeline the pattern displays checkboxes based on the original location. After clicking ok it does change it correctly however. I tried moving with the capture position checkbox checked but that didn't help.

After moving a component how can I have it permanently stick to this new location and forget about the old one completely?
