Thanks Peter. That certainly is a bug. I'll pass it on to the sketch team. I've seen problems dimensioning the handles, but usually the fit points work well.

Jeff

Screencast is self explanatory. I cannot fully dimension this simple T-Spline without spending considerable time using a workaround.

Again, I find a bug helping another user with a very simple design!

Edit: This gets even better. I though I had a workaround. To be able to dimension the hands I though I just draw a horizontal line constrained to the handle on one end and the center line on the other. But instead of providing me with two profile selections, it kills the profile:

Another thing that I found was that when I am dimensioning something but decide I want to cancel the command and hit the escape key to do so, the command is actually completes and the dimensioning is applied rather than cancelled. Is that expected behavior ?

Hi Peter,

This is indeed a strange issue, the stranger is that I didn't have such issue when I tried what you did

Here is a screencast of me doing it, did I do something different from what you did or is it the same?

Kind Regards

@TrippyLighting: Regarding ESC and Dimension, do you have the "Edit Dimension When Created" option turned on? If so, then I suspect what you might be seeing is that ESC cancels the edit operation, not the dimension operation. However, I just tried that, and ESC with this option on doesn't even cancel the edit. So, I'm not sure what that one is.
