No it's not PMI. All I've done is make the sketch visible then enabled show dimensions on the right click menu.

Hi,

I took a simple sphere and have shelled it then cut it in half. I would like to make one side of the sphere screw into the other. There are a couple of different methods to use and I was wondering what the best would be. Essentially a real life example would be the plastic easter eggs they hide candy in. Thread command does not work for this for some reason.

You need to create a counter bore on one half and a boss on the other with parallel side like the image below. I used a revolved sketch as it's easier to setup and edit.

is there anyway you could add a screen cast of the entire process. I'm missing the a few steps between making an arc sketch offsetting the line and adding the thread?
