I have a complex sketch that will not Extrude.

Even if I edit the sketch to add a circle away from the main drawing the circle will not Extrude.

Nothing is selectable..

About 3/4 of the way through drawing the sketch Fusion became very slow. I might have done

something to cause it to get its knickers in a twist and have an invalid sketch that displays

but is useless for anything else.

Has anyone had a similar experience?

Check - test - recall making it a 3d sketch, they won't extrude. Try to Redefine Sketch Plane.

Is the shape giving an orange profile?

More info the better.

Ah, it probably has bits of 3d sketch in it. I noticed I must have accidently

clicked the 3d sketch tick box, and unticked it, but obviously before I drew a 3d

piece.

How do I redefine the plane?

The whole design is only a complex sketch so far.

There are no 3d pieces yet.

can you share the design? It could be that there is a gap in the profile, or that you have inadvertently moved some part of it away from the sketch plane, but it's hard to tell without the design itself.

Public link at:-

http://a360.co/2uUrieu

I edited the sketch to add a 2 point circle. It won't extrude either, so while I might not have closed my shapes, that is not

the error, and if I find gaps I know how to close them.

I did notice the "3d sketch" tick box was ticked at one point. i must have hit it be accident. I unticked it. However

there are probably 3d lines in the sketch. But how do I find them and delete and replace them? Orbit appears

to show everything in a 2d plane.

Not much wrong in the sketch, didn't look for anything else....

In the sketch panel, tick "Show Profile"

Circle and sections of your sketch turn orange.

Away you go....
