[BUG] Cut extrude from offset plane

This extrude cut previews beautifully but then Fusion 360 guts away exactly the opposite of what it should.

This is really not complicated stuff. I think the most bugs I encounter with really simple operations when helping other users. Frustrating!

That is a strange one. I can't reproduce it. Can you provide the model?

@TrippyLighting since you look familiar with python, could you please tell me this ... I wanna learn Python to make my own scripts, and I'm familiar with c++, so do you think it would be too much trouble to learn it?

And is there any resources you recommend for learning Python?

I write embedded code for embedded micro controllers in C++ and find that Python is much easier to learn than C++. Pluralsight makes good python tutorials I heard, otherwise, If you are already familiar with C++ there are enough resources online that you can help you learn Python.

Learning Python is really only half the battle, because in order to write decent scripts you'll also have to familiarize yourself with the vast landscape of the Fusion 360 API.

We had phenomenal help from @prainsberry with those apps!

No, the guy in the video is Mike Aubrey. The guy I mentioned is Patrick Rainsberry, whom I've met in person. Unfortunately I've not been able to meet Mike Aubrey yet.

@Phil.E I deleted the file yesterday by accident and now I cannot reproduce it myself. Let's call this a Monday freak accident and move on 😉
