Hi Guys, relatively new to Fusion 360 and have imported a part from auto cad and it just does not look right - either in models or in rendering - the basic shape is there, but I am concerned about the lines and what effect they may have if I try to print this?

Are these anything to worry about?

By "print this" do you mean 3d print, or paper print - you can't print to paper from Fusion so figure you can,

Save as STL, and see if it is a graphic hitch, the STL preview will show you.

I presume there are small lines in the original file, but I would redraw in fusion for a simple shape like that one.

Might help...

Sorry - I meant 3D print.

Can you share the .f3d file so we can look at it?

@Anonymous

There is nothing wrong with your model. The lines are nothing more then a gfx glitch from the LOD settings in the viewport.

I have checked your model and it should print fine...one thing I would do first though is to combine all 3 of your bodies before exporting to a .stl.

I made a video to show how to control the LOD in the viewport and will post it as soon as it uploads.
