Yes, the Patch environment is what you need to accomplish this

Attached you'll find a f3d file of the knife you want to create, check the timeline to get the approach

Hey,

I've been stuck at a problem for a few days that I just cant seem to get figured out. The target is to greate the Maingrind on a Karambit Blade for which I've been using sweeping commands but I always end up with an ugly line on the blade where two sweeps intersect; there should be a smooth transition.

Also if someone could take a look at the tip as it isn't done 100% nice, sweeping to a point often seems to be a problem in fusion.

File is here http://a360.co/2gAGFbg

Pictures showing the line in question and how it's supposed to look

Wile you were able to grate the base geometry fairly far, the reason for this to be unsuccessful is that with solid modeling techniques you are hitting a road block as this creates a lot of unneeded edges that prevent your, for example from sweeping something along the edge of the blade. Time to start with surfacing tools in the patch workspace.

Thanks for the tips, I always wondered what patch's point was. The attached file still lacks some critical features/still has the problem, but it definetly is a new view on the situation.
