    <description>&lt;P&gt;I did a cut on on a body to get some flat surfaces and now I'm left with a weird mix of jagged faces.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've tried patching/merging them together but I get a "failed to merge" error.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've attached a screenshot of what I'm trying to turn in to a single smooth surface along with an f3d file.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="2017-11-14 at 11.13 AM.png" style="width: 642px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/426142i6E05C0ED7B97D292/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="2017-11-14 at 11.13 AM.png" alt="2017-11-14 at 11.13 AM.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;select the faces inside the thunderbolt shape and hit delete, like this-&lt;/P&gt;
