      <title>Joint and motion for planetary gears.</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi all, I'm trying to familiarize with fusion360 and trying to realize a planetary gearbox like this one:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="http://bestanimations.com/Science/Gears/planetary-gear-set-animation-5.gif#.WhlTMjkALFY.link" target="_blank"&gt;http://bestanimations.com/Science/Gears/planetary-gear-set-animation-5.gif#.WhlTMjkALFY.link&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So, I can move the central spurg gear around its axis, but I can't move the 4 planet gear around both axis I need (itself and around the central spur).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Someone can help me with joints and motion?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Well, I admit defeat on this one.&amp;nbsp; I tried a bunch of approaches, using joints and Motion Links.&amp;nbsp; Even Motion Study seemed to have problems with this.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;For anyone who wants to take a crack at this, here is a simplified model:&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I believe this can only be achieved with the use of a 4th component,the planetary gear carrier. Without that component a planetary gear would be relatively useless.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Two motion links and a little math will take care of the rest. I might have oversimplified the calculation for the motion ratio of the planetary gear, but in concept the assembly works as intended.&lt;/P&gt;
