Creating an irregualr solid form from an outline

Hi - I'm an almost complete novice , so apologies if this post is a little newby-esque - I'm trying to turn an outline / silhouette of a fish into a realistic looking 3d fish . Press pull/ extrude and fillet arent really doing the job. Any recomendations on a better technique - some sort of mesh would be good, even a pointer to an appropriate you tube video would be great

Can you please provide some more information about the outline or the final output you are trying to achieve? (May be some images and/or f3d file you've been working with) So that, we can help you better.

Hi - This is a screen grab of what I'm attempting - any methods to make it look like a real 3d fish would be helpful

Hi There - This is the continuation of a post from a while ago - Basically, Im tying to create a semi realistic fish from the outline of a fish. Any pointers gratefully recieved
