Opening shared projects - How? (f3z)

Happy New Year to everybody!

I´m currently feeling like a total newbie and apologize if the following questions seems rather stupid, but I´m having real problems with a very simple task: A colleague forwarded me a Fusion360 link and all I want to do is to open (a duplicate) of that project within my own Fusion360 application. How am I supposed to do this most straight forward task?

What I´ve done so far:

Open the link I´ve got (with password) which opens the file (including animation) in the web-browser just fine

Not seeing any easy "open/clone" functionality, I only get the big blue "download" button:
So far, so good. Not wanting to loos anything in exporting/importing, I assume that the Fusion 360 archive is the way to go...

Clicking on it, I´m asked for the email to which a link will be sent. Okay, not the most comfortable of ways to handle this, but so far, I´m okay with it.

Getting my email link and downloading the file to my local hard drive. It´s a 13.2 MB file with extension *.f3z
My system doesn´t know what do do with it, but okay, maybe Fusion360 does. So I fire up Fusion and...

...am stuck. How do I open the file? "New Design From File" would be my first natural guess, but nope the open dialog does not support *.f3z. It does support *.f3d though. Assuming the f3z is just an archive file, I open it with my regular ZIP program (7Zip) and am not surprised to find some *.f3d files inside. However, there are many (6) and all with glibberish names plus two .json files. So I decided to abandon this route. Surely, Autodesk wouldn´t make it that hard...

Google to the rescue, and I end up with this old forum post here as first hit. It reminds me of the a-so-well-hidden feature of Fusion360, which is it's web-interface, and advise me to use this to upload the archive again. ( Really? This should be the right way to transfer data from within the same system? Web->Download->Email->Web-Download->Web-Upload ?? ) Despite having seen (and expected) something a bit more comfortable, I'm moving on..

I open one of my projects (Because it should be part of it, plus, according to the forum, it only works from within a project)

There, I see the big fat blue "upload" button - which extends to three options

Naively, I try "File" first. I can select the file and upload it just fine (It takes a while for 13MB). But it doesn't do me any good. It just sits as as a file which is recognized, but can not be opened in any way. ( I can download or share it, though :c) )

I can also double-click it to open in the Web interface - just that it isn´t very informative:

Okay, my bad. Maybe I should try "Upload Assembly" instead... I click that one and get a dialog to select a file. Promisingly, "any file type" is allowed, so I again upload my F3Z file. I even get a nice (albeit somewhat confusing) upload dialog:

Why confusing? Because it does not have any "OK" button - just a big "Upload" button - but apparently, the upload is already happening right away. ( I get it, this button is only used when additional files are uploaded in the Drag & Drop, but my first impression was: confusion)

After some point, the dialog reads "100%" upload - but nothing else seems to happen... (?) Okay, maybe it´s time to press the (only) button now, despite "Upload" not making any sense as that has already happened...

And once I´m returned to the web-interface: I get the same added (and useless) static *.f3z file entry...

Now real frustration sets in.

Can somebody please enlighten me how I´m supposed to do this?

Upload the f3z file to your data panel inside of Fusion. The uploader will automatically split the archive into the constituent parts and put them all in the folder you uploaded the archive to.

You should be able to do this all from within Fusion now, one exception is exporting a 2d drawing. But for an assembly use import\export from the file menu.
