Below i attached a video that shows me showing what i want to extend. I am trying to extend a surface patch edge to match an image, but it only lets me extend at either a 90 degree angle or another angle which I cant choose. any help would be appreciated.

That cannot be done.

This would be a sweep, and that needs the help of a sketch and a path to sweep along.

I've looked at the rest of your model. Your splines have way too many fit points and aren't smooth.

For 2-sided, curved surfaces you should always use the loft tool, not the patch tool.

Generally, I would first block the shape out with solids and then move to work with surfaces.

One tool I like using to set the angle of the extension is the "Ruled" tool :

@s-msalischiker wrote:
... how do i make my fit points smooth? ...

You don't make the fit pois smooth. You make the spline smoother by using fewer fit points and with with the orientation and size of the tangent handles of the remaining fit or end points to create the shape you need.

@s-msalischiker wrote:
... what do you mean by blocking the shape out with solids? ...

This is a little difficult to describe.

However, the general idea is that you start with the biggest shapes, or surfaces in a design and only when you are fully satisfied with the overall shape do you start adding features. That "blocking out" can be done with solids, or surfaces.
