Hi,

I am trying offset a sketch but for some reason, I cannot select the sketch.

Is it possible fusion cannot offset a sketch that is in perspective?

Thank you!

Are you certain that you are editing the sketch that contains these curves? If so, the other thing I noticed was the black points at the end of your lines. These indicate that the lines are not joined together. How did you create these lines?

perspective view will not affect offset

First, I'd be interested to see what is in this design, can you share the design here by choosing Export:

then, on the dialog, make sure that "Archive Files" is chosen as the type, and "Save to my computer" is checked. This will put an f3d file onto your computer. Attach it to a post in this forum.

Then, use Select Other to see what is in your sketch - just press and hold the left mouse button to get a list of geometry under the cursor. I wonder if you have duplicate geometries:

Finally, you can use the Coincident constraint to join the points together:

Jeff

Correction!

This used to be possible and was very handy for certain things. But in their feeble attempts to fix the 2D functionality of the sketch engine, they broke yet another functionality of the 3D part.

Sad, sad story!!!
