Hello, I am trying to design an adapter to connect a garden hose to the drain port of a shop vac. The shop vac comes with a threaded plug that is 2" inside diameter. I'm very new to Fusion 360, and I'm not sure how to go about figuring out the specs of the threads on the existing plug. I've attached a couple photos to help clarify what I'm working on. The part I want to design would be female threads for the larger end, and male threads that a standard garden hose would connect to.

I've started drawing the adapter in Fusion, just applied whatever threads were the defaults... http://a360.co/2HlFGnM

I was able to find a part on GrabCAD that had the garden hose thread portion... I was looking for some help with how to draw the thread on the larger side.

I took a stab at creating the thread in Fusion, and did a quick test print - the threads matched up well enough, so I guess I got lucky.
