Hi all,

I have created my first design in Fusion 360 - and albeit messy layer wise, it seems to have been a success.

However, I need to send the design for fabrication and ideally I would like to send custom views of the bodies with the dimensions on.

How do I do this? Example below.

I have attached my project if anyone needs to have a look at it.

Hi Brindle,

For what I have seen in some tutorials you will need to flatten your piece as it looks like a Sheet Metal object so you sort out a DXF file and produce a dimensioned drawing.

To produce a drawing go to File>New Drawing

Hopefully this help you a little until the guys in the States come on line (about 1pm GMT) to help a lot more that I can

Matt

Thanks for the replies.

I solved this issue by uploading the file to OnShape and producing a drawing for production that way.

I think this issue came from me deleting dimensions without thinking in the sketches and not keeping my layers tidy. However, it would be nice to have the functionality to put dimensions easily on a body.
