I'm trying to make a thread for a screw(92000A222) it seems like each option is chosen properly but, after clicking the target hole the Tread fit class keeps changing from 6g to 6h and no other options available.

Is it because of the Fusion applies the allowed tolerance automatically or it's something else.

@Anonymous

Hi and welcome to the Fusion 360 community forum.

I'm no thread expert, but I did find some information that may help.

On the links below, for M4 threads, there are only certain tolerances listed. Fusion does provide what is on these charts.

https://www.engineersedge.com/hardware/metric-internal-thread-sizes0.htm

Internal M4

https://www.engineersedge.com/hardware/metric-external-thread-sizes1.htm

External M4

If you have another resource that has a spec for what you are seeking, can you share it? I would be happy to write up an improvement to include those specs in Fusion 360.

Please let me know if you have more questions.

Regards,
