Select Other shows 6 points, 2 curves, and 3 dimensions.

When I hover the cursor over the points in the list, the point turns white, and when I hover over the curves and dimensions, the green dot for Fixed returns.

So not sure what to do with that.

Thanks

I wasted enough time trying to figure out what geometry wasn't completely constrained in a sketch, so I fixed a point which is the centerpoint of several circles and arcs.

Now I want to change a dimension and can't because of the fixed point.

I tried setting the selection filter to geometry constraints, boxing in the points, and "delete" but that didn't work.

Use Select Other, when presented with the list, you select each entity in that list, (keeping the list active) and the associated geometry will highlight.

in my cases, selecting sketch point, will show which circle is associated, test the list to find the right one and actually select it, by leaving the list.

Might help...

Six minus five equals one.

Until the green dot changes colour you have not found it.

When you select point, that does change from green, hit the unfix constraint, no more green points, should be right to go.

I'm not having any trouble changing dimensions on circles and arcs with a common point which is fixed. Do you have other points constrained or fixed on the geometry?

You can unfix the point by window selecting it, Fix/Unfix, then repeat the selection and Fix/Unfix command. The first Fix/Unfix will Fix all of the points selected, the second will Unfix all of the points selected.

oops, sorry, wrong thread on the previous post

> I'm not having any trouble changing dimensions on circles and arcs with a common point which is fixed.

? Nor am I; that's not the problem

> You can unfix the point by window selecting it, Fix/Unfix, then repeat the selection and Fix/Unfix command. The first Fix/Unfix will Fix all of the points selected, the second will Unfix all of the points selected.

Ah, I didn't try that because I assumed that would just toggle all points to the opposite state.

That worked, thanks!
