How to duplicate a sketchup rendering?

Hello folks, I drew this table in sketchup and now I want to recreate it in fusion. I can figure out how to do the majority of the base but not sure how to do the top portion of the trestle?

Can a person use the revolve tool on a square so I can recreate the top portion of this trestle base?

I am attaching a picture of the sketchup rendering.

You may ant to look at the sweep tool.

Easier to use the Loft Tool,

adjust the curve result with the Direction arrows.

Might help....

All you need to do is create a sketch with the square shape the size you need, then create a profile sketch and sweep it around the square. If you can not figure it out with my file let me know and I will add a screencast.

WOW!! thats what I need!!! Thank you! Will it be possible to send me a screen cast? I am sorry to bother you, I seem to learn much better from watching something being done as I am so new to fusion, but I really like it so far!!

One thing I might add is make sure you constrain and dimension your sketch....I didn't have time to do that here.

There are many ways to skin a cat..

1. Lofting between horizontal profiles...

2. Extruding/intersecting two vertical profiles...

3. Sweeping a perimeter around a square path then deleting the hole...
