    <description>&lt;P&gt;Not meant to be a vague answer, but the answer is most likely 'it depends on your exact needs'.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My guess is as follows:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you simply want clean geometry, I&amp;nbsp;would most likely remodel using the scan as reference. This might not be the answer that you wanted to hear, but in most cases, all of the a) detail and b) noise from the 3D scan will probably cause more headache than it's worth trying to actually clean it up and use it. Modeling from scratch will provide you the cleanest, most lightweight geometry to work with - this is especially true if you want to export and apply materials and render in another program.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The more interesting question in my mind is what are you actually using Fusion for, in this case? Why would you not simply bring the scan directly into Blender/3DSMax/Maya and bypass Fusion altogether? Fusion's good at a lot of things, but working with dirty meshes probably isn't one of it's strengths.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have some 3D scans of electronic goods, like: laptops, phones, tablets etc. that&amp;nbsp;I want to use to render some images. What's the fastest way to cleanup a 3D scan and separate it into sections, so I can add different materials to each part? I would add the materials and render the images in a separate program.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
