Hi Folks. Got a weird one:

In the Sketch environment, viewed perpendicular to the Sketch Plane, the area enclosed by a spline is demarcated by an area of colour offset from where the spline is indicated- that is, the indicated area varies in placement to either side of the spline. Strange? Sure. Typical? Maybe. The visualization being a convenience, I can deal with the discrepancy.

But wait- there's more! A line drawn coincident to that spline is displayed as completely offset- the end vertex of the line touches neither the spline nor the coloured area indicator! When the constraint is rolled over, both the spline and vertex illuminate to indicate the coincident relationship. See the attached screencast.

How can one successfully employ Fusion 360 under such a condition? No rhetorical question, that- I'm looking for either solutions enabling accurate display of sketch elements or a work philosophy that prevents such aberrations from causing work flow dysfunction.

There are certain sketch functions I have learned to totally avoid. One of them is the fix constraint as there are several bugs associated with it. On of which I reported myself.

I believe this is buggy behavior.

@mavigogun, can you share your design? It is not clear what the distance scales involved in your screencast are. The Fusion sketch solver, like any mathematical library, works with tolerances. I think the default setting for the tolerance is e-6. If the distance in your screencast is less than this tolerance, then this is a "correct" result. If it is larger, then yes, this is a bug.

(disclaimer: I viewed the video during a meeting in which I was supposed to be paying attention, so I did not hear the sound, apologies if there is valuable information in the sound track).
